Introduction

Prior to taking this course, I did not think of research and writing as things I was doing incorrectly, or that they were even somewhat related. Then I realized, you cannot have one without the other. In order to do research, someone has to first write about the subject you are researching. At the same time, in order to write about the topic you would like to delve into, you need to do extensive research prior. That is the first important thing WRIT 2201 has taught me; to look at research and writing differently than before. Since the beginning of this course, I have improved on multiple skills and even developed new ones that I will be using in my future work.
